If you're a fan of My Bloody Valentine and Neutral Milk Hotel, then you'll probably like The Radio Dept. and their 2003 album Lesser Matters. Even though they've been around since 1995, it's this 2003 album that placed them on the map and set them apart from the rest. Everything they do is great but Radio Dept.'s Pet Grief is an absolute masterpiece. It was supposed to be scrapped but the band decided to release it any way.
They're supposed to have new album out in a few months hopefully (if it's not pushed back again).
